Industrial, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Industrial, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering of Roma Tre University has been selected as one of the 180 departments of excellence of the Italian academic system for the five-year period 2023-2027.
The Department intends to be a reference centre for the University with regard to the main areas of Industrial, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering and applied sciences thanks to the synergy between human and instrumental resources which contribute to the sustainable development of contemporary society.
Starting from Academic Year 2023/2024, the course catalogue of the Department provides a new degree course in Biomedical Engineering. Furthermore, following a review of the learning path, the degree programme in Engineering for marine resources has been integrated in the degree programme” Mechanical engineering for marine resources” always running in Ostia seat, keeping and updating its educational peculiarities. The educational path of the Bachelor’s degree courses leads to the Master’s degree courses in Biomedical engineering, Communication and information technology engineering, Electronic engineering for industry and innovation, Mechanical engineering, Mechanical engineering for marine resources.
As for career guidance, the Department sets out two annual editions of the Career Day: event that connects students with companies.

From a.y. 2024/2025, a Single cycle master’s degree in technology-oriented Medicine and Surgery will be running, the administrative seat is at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Unicatt), the degree programme has been developed between the Medicine faculty of the abovementioned Unicatt and our Department of Industrial, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering
