Roma Tre University is a young university thought for young people. Founded in 1992, it has rapidly grown with over 35.000 students enrolled each year and it has achieved a relevant position among the academic community thanks to the quality of its education, research and the relevant international cooperation. Roma Tre has thirteen Departments, four of which have been awarded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, further to a national Call for Proposals, as “Departments of Excellence” of the Italian academic system for the five-year period 2023-2027.

It offers over 80 Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree and 20 PhDs along with:
- 3 Degree courses entirely in English: Sustainable coastal and ocean engineering, Biomedical Engineering, International Studies
- 8 Curricula of Degree courses entirely in English
- Single Courses in English and other foreign languages for each Degree programme
Roma Tre campuses are mainly located in the south-eastern area of Rome, most of its premises are the result of a restructuring process of industrial buildings converting them into factories of knowledge and research, so that students can rely on large and modern constructions equipped with the most advanced technologies, laboratories, reading rooms and wide spaces often with green areas where to enjoy university life.
Furthermore, international students, will be welcomed in the academic community of Roma Tre. An active community including Palladium Theatre, Roma Tre Orchestra, Roma Tre Radio, R3 Sport organizing several cultural and sporting activities in the beautiful setting of the city of Rome.
