Department of Civil, Computer and Aeronautical Technologies Engineering overview
The Department of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Aeronautical Technologies at Roma Tre University is located within a large urban area that was formerly a historic industrial site, now redeveloped and renewed.
Between 2017 and 2022, the Department was selected by the Ministry as one of the 180 Departments of Excellence within the Italian university system.
The academic offer, structured into Degree Programs in the fields of Civil, Computer Sciences, Management and Aeronautical Engineering (Italian version) is continuously updated through collaborations and direct partnerships with the business sector, ensuring high employment rates for its graduates.
The Department also offers a wide range of postgraduate programs, which are renewed each year, including, starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, a master’s program in Advanced Air Mobility. Career opportunities vary depending on the chosen field of study and include the design, planning, programming, and management of civil works and infrastructure; the design of components and systems typical of the aeronautical sector and air transport management; as well as the development of complex and distributed information systems, applications and network services, IT solutions for big data management and analysis and systems supporting process management and automation.
Graduates of the master’s programs quickly find employment in industry, public administration, manufacturing, construction and service companies, research institutions and in freelance professions.
The Department rewards merit with scholarships for the best incoming students, awards for the best project work within courses, and prizes for outstanding final theses.
